We reserved the last spot for him as he’s one of the pioneers of the Filipino fashion blogosphere. Bryan Grey Yambao, popularly known as Bryanboy, started blogging in 2004. By 2006, his influence was so huge that supermodel Angela Lindvall, in a campaign for Fendi, held up a handbag in his signature pose. In 2007, his blog won the Philippine Blog Award for Best Fashion & Lifestyle Blog. The New York Post named him one of the nine hottest internet celebrities, and News.com.au called him one of Fashion 2.0’s biggest superstars. He earned the attention of the Sydney Morning Herald as well, which called his blog “hysterically camp” and “known for its witty and often bitchy commentary.” He was featured as the social media correspondent on cycle 19 and 20 of America’s Next Top Model. Many other fans, especially international celebrities, have imitated his signature pose as well. This includes Marc Jacobs, Tanya Dziahileva, Alexandra Agoston, and Rachel Clark. Marc Jacobs named a bag after him. The magazines and articles he has appeared in are too many to mention; so are the luxury brands he works with.
